My students have special needs but don't let that stop them! They rise to meet the challenges of learning new and exciting things and have fun along the way. These avid learners are in kindergarten through fifth grade and have various communication impairments, which may be due to Autism, developmental, cognitive, or learning disabilities. They are kind, unique, and inspirational! Students come to speech therapy on an individual or group basis where we work on improving their ability to communicate. We focus on using and understanding language during academic, social, and activities of daily living.

About my class
