Welcome!! I absolutely LOVE reading! I enjoy helping others. Kids crack me up when they say the darndest things. So for me being an elementary library media specialist is a perfect fit!! Nothing in education is easy but the fulfillment of watching students enjoy learning new things is the greatest reward. I love watching an emerging reader find the "perfect" books that will instill confidence. I enjoy the constant flow of students who visit outside their library time. And it delights me to hear students ohh and ahh over new books. Purchasing new books is a large part of my job. I always thought it would be the easiest. I have quickly learned that there are so many more new books to purchase than what my budget allows. Your help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks for visiting!!!
