My students are a group of low income/SES, bright, smiling and eager to learn five year olds! They attend a large public school in Wisconsin where budget cuts have taken their toll. Our parents want to help financially, but they just can't. Many of my students come from large families that can't even provide the basic necessities. School is one place where I want to give as much to them as I can.
