My fourth grade students attend a charter school in a low income school district in Colorado. My classroom includes a large number of English language learners. Visual aids are vital to their success. Their passion and enthusiasm for learning is truly infectious. They find a great deal of joy in discovering the wonders of science. Due to a lack of funds, the students are rarely able to participate in experiments/hands on activities.
