My students need 19 books to improve literacy and develop music appreciation. My students will be using the classroom library books to support literacy instruction and the school's reading goal. We will use the books in class as a visual aid while learning songs and music concepts. For example, students will be able to follow along with the book version of "Itsy Bitsy Spider" as they sing the song. Another use is to develop a deeper appreciation for music, music history, and musicians. These books will also provide visual aid while learning about instruments. We will accompany the story "Giraffes Can't Dance" with classroom instruments. Your donation will support the education of over 250 children and take them to places around the world they otherwise may never experience. These books will give them opportunities they will otherwise not enjoy. Also, the music class library will be a part of this school and the lives of the students for generations to come.
