By donating to my classroom project, students will be able to explore and engage in learning at their personal comfort level. Flexible seating is revolutionizing the 21st century traditional classroom set up. Not only will a classroom filled with a variety of flexible seating options motivate and excite students to come to school, but flexible seating will also increase engagement, create a better oxygen flow to the brain and improve metabolism and posture. If flexible seating is sure to result in these advantages, my students' academic performance will soar higher than ever before. I would like to transform my classroom environment by transitioning from traditional style seating to providing seven varieties of flexible seating. These flexible seating options will include: six Scoop Rockers, six Hokki Stools, six Stability Ball Chairs, four Standing Desk, four Floor Tables, four Yoga Mats and four Bean bag Chairs. Although I desire all of the items listed above in order to transform my classroom with flexible seating options, in this project I am only requesting funding for stability ball chairs. I am so excited to witness the outstanding results that transpires from offering students flexible seating options. Your investment will not be in vain.
