Many of these same students are also English Language Learners, which makes it even harder for them. Our school is considered a low performing school in a low socio-economic community. My students are hard workers and are always ready to give their very best. Due to the school district’s budget cuts, it is extremely hard to get extra materials and resources for the students. I just want to make sure that I can give and support my students as much as possible, and having new and different types of resources can prove to be beneficial for them.
