These materials will be used to help my students learn functional and transferrable skills that can be transferred into their home lives and their future careers. Many of my students do not know how to do basic chores such as cleaning tables, toilets, sinks, washing dishes, or other house-hold skills. These cleaning supplies will help give my students a sense of independence and pride in their work. By allowing my students to help clean up their school environment they are learning to appreciate hard work and how to take pride in the things that they do whether it is at school or at home.
