Reluctant readers need to be captivated by a book in order to truly escape in it and finish it. The books I have chosen appeal to a diverse level of readers and are written about a variety of topics and themes. They are all rated 4 or 5 stars by well-known authors and have been proven to capture the interest of students to get them engaged in reading. Many of them are award-winning novels, and some have been made into movies. I like to have new titles in my library so that there is a variety for my students to chose from. Reading is the key to their academic success!
