I am a new teacher and would love to help my students achieve high levels of academic achievement. The school where I teach is located in a rural area where most working families work in agriculture. This means the students may not have access to the necessary tools needed to succeed. This would really help out my group of amazing students.
My students demonstrate an eagerness to learn and having these tools will make a great impact on their lives and on their educational journey.
I am planning to prepare engaging lesson plans that will include writing, reading, hands-on interactive learning activities which require the tools on my project list. My students will benefit from the hundreds chart and will be able to know and recognize numbers from 0 - 100; my students will be able to learn about the plant cycle which is part of our second grade science standards; my students will be able to write complete sentences using the sentence builder blocks and anchor charts on my list; my students will be able to learn by engaging in lessons to help them learn phonics in a fun way; the headphones will help my students stay focused while navigating through fun technology-based learning activities; and having a sand timer set with different times can help lessons flow nicely and the students and teacher will stay on task and the Bingo games will help my lessons become alive by engaging my students in learning mathematics in a fun way rather than just memorization of numbers.
