Having these a leveled library in English will be a huge asset to our classroom. These books will be used on daily basis for a variety of purposes within the classroom. These books will enhance my students social skills, language acquisition skills through the use of varying language skills learned in the classroom, such as letter recognition, decoding words and reading comprehension. I work with children that come from various countries like Yemin, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic. Some have not been exposed to books and how much fun they can be. I want them to learn that reading and exploring books can take them to places and learn about culture, animal habitats and other amazing topics just by reading a book. My students are an amazing group ready to learn to read and explore with this world has to offer them.
