As a Special Education resource teacher the time I spend with my students can be limited day to day, it is important for me to make use of our time through guided reading groups. These book sets and adding more culturally diverse books to our library will allow students to choose books based on their personal interest to add to the core instruction. Mindfulness is a daily practice in my classroom; we will use the mindfulness books to facilitate our mindful moment. Who doesn't like to have fun? The sight word and vocabulary games will engage the students in play while learning important foundational skills!
