I teach students in a low socioeconomic environment that serves a student population in which the majority of my students are at-risk and receive free or reduced price lunch. My students come from families in which technology is not readily accessible. My students have economic disadvantages that create barriers to their learning. At a Title I school, they don't have access to technology unless it is provided through the school, during a very limited amount of time. I also teach Writing to students that are English Language Learners. Many of these students are able to learn a new language through the use of visual aids. What better way is there to learn and communicate, than through instant photos that will help improve their reading, writing, and English!
