I am an early career teacher who came to the profession late after finishing a PhD in Neuroscience. I now teach physics to 150+ juniors and seniors in the metro Atlanta region. Our school is among the most diverse schools in the country. My students come from many cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Many of my students are still growing in their English language proficiency. I am working towards building an inquiry classroom where our physics content comes alive with relevance through authentic problem and project based tasks.
