With your help, students will always have a new book within reach! Students will 'shop' around each week and select several texts to place in their independent book bags! They can select a level that matches their reading ability. Your donations will be in the hands of students DAILY! These texts will also be used as instructional tools at our guided reading table. With teacher support, the bridge between "learning to read"...........and "reading to learn" will take place! Leveled Readers will be used to explicitly model reading skills and build fluency. Students will also have the opportunity to "share what they know" when they "partner read" with friends!
