Aloha, Because of Covid-19 and the new limitations in place, like not being able to go on field trips and use nature as our learning space, my students could really benefit from having a smart TV in our classroom so we can virtually explore and observe different natures and outdoor spaces. Currently my classroom is not equipped with any technology that allows me to project anything for them to see and follow along with. If I have a smart TV, along with going on virtual field trips, I will be able to easily project learning materials for them to follow along with and we will also use this resource to watch educational videos and other available online materials. A majority of my students come from disadvantaged and low-income households and access to technology to facilitate their learning may only occur in school, if I can get funding to make that happen for them. I know our students will be extremely appreciative of the aloha spirit shown to them by donating towards their classroom smart TV. Mahalo!
