Teaching is my passion. I have 41 precious students who love to learn and need opportunities for engagement. I love providing valuable experiences for my students and making learning exciting for them! I am humbled to be Greenville County Schools Teacher of the Year for this year. I never want to stop growing and learning as an educator because I believe you can always be better at what you do. I love any opportunity to learn from others, share ideas, and strengthen what I do each and every day in my classroom. I am on a mission to ignite a spark for learning within my students. I wish to cultivate "lifetime learners" in my room who see school as a fun, comforting environment where they are able to develop knowledge and social/life skills. Even in first and second grade, I am hoping to prepare my students for the future and encourage them to never give up on their dreams. Help me ignite that spark within!
