White boards are must in the mathematics classroom. Our classroom is one in which students are constantly modeling, sharing, discussing, and checking for reasonableness. We use them for partner work, whole class instruction, small group work. Also students love using them so they bring high engagement! A new exciting feature that these white boards would bring to the classroom are the magnetic aspect! We have several magnetic sets of manipulatives in the classroom, but students could only utilize them in the front of the class on my whiteboard. This feature would let them build models and illustrations and share them to explain concepts in videos or to other students. When virtual learning began students needed my set of whiteboards at home so I sent my set home with students. Dry erase boards and erasers are an essential tool needed for learning in our classroom.
