Studies have shown that when movement is implemented into lessons, teachers improve their students' overall learning experience. The DeskCycles will make a difference in my students' learning because pedaling will increase their energy and productivity, while reducing everyday stress. The days of sitting still in the classroom are over. Today's classroom, my classroom, is full of movers and shakers. Keeping my students engaged during lessons, collaboration, and independent work time is key. DeskCycles will give my fifth graders the opportunity to engage their whole body while they are working and learning. I want to give my students the opportunity to Pedal to Proficiency!
