These Kindles will make a difference because our students will be able to access more reading material. My international students do not visit the school library because they feel like they are unwanted visitors in the building they share with another school. My students are already reluctant readers because they are all English Language Learners. These kindles will help my students interact with texts and be able to highlight and annotate for understanding, which they are not able to do in school books. The Kindles will be used in the English classroom to support English Language Learners in improving their vocabulary, reading fluency, and overall language acquisition.
