The library isn't just about books and the Dewey Decimal System anymore! I want to start introducing the idea of coding and robots with students who may never get the chance to experience them. Purchasing these Cubelets robot blocks would be a huge expense for a school already with a tremendous budget cut. Having this program would be a great, innovative way to introduce the beginning stages of coding and robots! We already have started using a website for some small coding projects but it doesn't hold a candle to being able to hold onto and manipulate actual robot blocks. They would love this!
