Today's students are digital natives- they will grow up with technology as part of their daily lives. My 26 students have never known a time when computers were not a part of their daily lives. They are always anxious for something "new and improved" in the classroom and I would love to see their faces light up at the thought of new technology. Today's students learn differently than students 10 years ago. To engage their learning we must engage their interests. In a world where a large majority of the population holds a computer in the palm of their hand everyday, it is vital that we teach students using the technology that is shaping our world.

About my class
