We currently have 55-minute class periods. This limits what cooking methods I can teach my culinary students. We do our best to complete a dish and clean up before the bell, but it can be very difficult. Families have the same issue. No one wants to come home from work and spend over an hour making dinner. By having two Instant Pot pressure cookers/air fryers combo in the classroom, I would be able to teach students how to make quick, flavorful dishes to share with their families. It would also teach students about culinary industry trends and give them a new skill for their portfolio.
