My school, and my students, are the absolute best! Our town is relatively small, about 20,000, and our school in in the middle of town. We have a free and reduced-lunch population of approximately 74%. Our families care, but many of our students don't have a lot. However, we are a community, and we look out for each other. I have taught in this community for 26 years ~ my entire career. This is my first year teaching art to K-5 students, and I absolutely adore my new position! Every single day, my students are filled with wonder and excitement, and approach each day with joy and enthusiasm!
