Our student population is diverse in race, educational foundations, and socioeconomic status (to a lesser degree since we have an 87% eligible student population for the free and reduced cost lunch program). The one thing our students seem to share is an absolute lack of "dream" factor. It is hard to plant ideas in a mind that has never dared to dream. My students need resources and hands-on experience, encouraging the appreciation and recognizing the value of contributing to their own learning. Perhaps then, with the materials in hand, they can better explore the present while preparing for the future.

About my class
