My students are curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn. They are filled with ambition and have dreams of achieving great things. Our school is a "Title 1" school which means we receive financial assistance due to the high percentage of children who come from low-income families. This help is provided to ensure that our students are given the resources necessary to ensure that they meet all academic objectives. We are a Medical Science Magnet which means our curriculum focuses on jobs in the medical/science/health fields. Many of our students aspire to become doctors, nurses, researchers, scientists, and other occupations in this respective field. Nearly all of our students were EL (English Learners) who worked extremely hard to become "reclassified" and have graduated from ESL. We are a traditional, year-round school, where students are required to wear uniforms. We are very proud to announce that we have increased our API score each of the past three years!
