The 8th graders that are in my classroom are amazing. Over 80% of my students come from socioeconomically disadvantaged homes. Everyday my students walk into my classroom with a smile on their face and a passion for life in their hearts. I am constantly amazed by how much they care for their friends and teachers. My students are constantly educating me about the meaning of community and how our communities can make our societies a better place. Because of my students I am constantly trying to incorporate our shared community into the classroom.

About my class
