Our school is a low income Title One school. Many of our students who come to Kindergarten have never been to any type of preschool, and therefore have not been exposed to basic skills such as learning letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. A majority of our students do not have access to technology at home and are so excited about learning to use the computers and the few iPads that are in our classroom. Next year our school will be a BYOD school, so having more iPads in our room would enable more of my students to break into the digital world of learning and make a huge impact on their learning.
