LET THEM EXPRESS THEMSELVES! My students are talented and creative individuals who attend class in a new and innovative school which concentrates on preparing them for higher education in the fields of science and medicine. In this large urban district, all students attend elective classes where funds are not available to sufficiently supply their visual arts needs. They have had years of doing traditional projects without current and challenging equipment, and have to survive with recyclables, remnant materials, and out of date equipment. Even with these challenges, their determination leads to great success.
