Our elementary is a neighborhood school within walking distance for many of our students. We serve a predominately low-income and at-risk population. Our school is a Title-I school which serves Pre-K through fifth grade students. As teachers we work with an extremely supportive administration and a concerned and active parent population. Due to the current economic situation, the funding simply isn't there to provide additional resources in the classrooms to keep centers fresh and engaging.
