My students need these materials so we have a place to meet as a group as well as a place where they can feel organized. This will create a positive learning environment where students feel like their needs are being met. We will start off each day gathered as a family on the rug and use it during large group reading and math instruction! Students will also have the opportunity to use this rug during independent time. We will use the mailboxes as a central place for students to keep their work together and stay organized.
By donating to this project, you will be helping my students begin their lifelong journey of loving their environment and grow their excitement for learning. As a first year teacher, it is important to me that I find ways for optimal learning to occur in my classroom while fostering a love for learning.
