Engineering is already part of the DNA of young learners! Elementary school is the perfect time to introduce the engineering design process through simple STEM activities because it builds on children’s natural curiosities to create. STEAM projects require students to systematically think through problems, applying the information they learn along the way about technology and engineering to figure out the best solutions. I want my students to get excited about Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math!! I want my students to discover all of the opportunities that STEAM can bring their way! The materials in this project will give them opportunities to try new things and use their imaginations to discover how to solve real world problems.
