My classroom has implemented the reader's/writer's workshop. I've accomplished making my non-readers enjoy reading through donations from the community and personal purchases for my students. I have a large classroom library consisting of five, tall, thin bookshelves filled. Due to the students having a choice, they have now started requesting novels/books for our library. Please help me continue to provide relevant books that my students feel they can relate to during their reading time. When I asked my students what to write on our project, they wanted donors to know that I mention novels we don't have in the room. It piques their interest, but I am not able to get all those books for them.
