I have prided myself in making a warm classroom environment for my students by using a farmhouse theme. We meet at our carpet multiple times throughout the day for readers, writers, and morning meeting workshop, as well as dismissal and any other opportunity for modeling. A majority of the room is themed with wall collages, universal colors (black, brown, and white), and stimulating visuals throughout. Students continue throughout the day in a variety of work settings (independent, partner work, small group activities, and instructional centers). My goal is to create an organized and warm environment than encourages my student's confidence and nurtures their learning throughout the year. Any donations on this website helps to update and continue to nurture the learning and positive learning environment.
