My classroom has a heterogeneous group of students. As an inclusion teacher, I teach students with learning difficulties, as well as, students who are at risk of failing. Most of my students are struggling readers and writers and in need of personalized intervention. Due to their short attention span and learning difficulties, they are in need of resources to supplement their learning. Regardless of their leaning difficulties, they are highly motivated to do their best and excel in their classroom. As R. Kelly wrote in the song, "I believe I can fly", "we do believe we can fly ... spread our wings and fly away". Unfortunately, our wings have been cut short by conditions like a county with the highest-poverty, highest unemployment rate, and highest number of children from low-income families, just to mention a few. Your support can make huge difference in my students learning. Thank you for your generosity.
