The students in my general music classes enter the room each week full of excitement and anticipation. These young students come in full of wonder and ready to embrace whatever the plans for the day may be. They are hoping they will get to make noise, have fun, and maybe learn about music along the way. Many of them come from economically disadvantaged homes and I want them to experience music in ways they never imagined. It is my hope that their love, understanding, and appreciation of music grows each time they are with me.

About my class
