As we start a new school year I'm trying to focus on college, careers and culture. The following items will help me achieve my goal. The pennants will help in establishing a college bound environment. The other items such as the markers and scissors will be used daily in the classroom in various collaborative activities. The culture of my students is important and I look forward to showcasing it in combination with college and careers. It is my goal to show them that there are people in industries that look like and share similar backgrounds as they do. This intentional modeling and exposure to success will hopefully ignite in them the desire to continue their pursuits.
