I can’t wait to meet my kiddos in August. So, I don’t know them personally. However, I truly believe God will put us where we need to be. I want to share that according to US News and World Report, “The percentage of Brooksville Elementary School students on free and reduced lunch assistance (77.7%) is higher than the state average of 61.4%. This may indicate that the area has a higher level of poverty than the state average.” I added this information to convey the true need of our students. Just because they may come from low-income households, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be entitled to equivalent education, tools, and environment of students in wealthier communities.
