My students come from low income families. They are kind hearted and hardworking kids. Even though my students have very little they come to school ready to learn every day and give it their very Best. Our school is one of the highest performing schools in our district. Even though our students are achieving in our benchmarks and state tests, they come from diverse cultures and most of them are either low income families or language learners. Most of my students have not been in school until now and are being introduce to the English language. They are always happy to learn new things. I am proud of what we can do with limited art supplies. We don't have easels for them to paint or draw.
