I have a classroom of 18 students. In this population, is one gifted student, three below level readers, and two ESOL students who all need specialized tasks to learn. My class is required to have a reading block of 90 minutes of which they are to participate in specialized center activities. My students enjoy hands on activities to master skills in reading. My school has only been open for one year and specialized items are limited.
