Our school is a rural public school on the gulf coast. I currently have 6 students in my classroom full-time. Two of my students have Autism, two have a rare genetic syndrome and 1 has developmental delays. All Six are non-verbal. They have a variety of disabilities and needs. Physical support, self-help, sensory stimulation, communication all need to be met before teaching and learning can happen.
