My dancers are awesome and creative young girls who just happen to be in some very unfortunate circumstances. They are young people who strive to be successful in an environment that some people think they cannot be. My school not only offers them an excellent education, but it serves as a safe haven that nurtures, protects and loves each and every student. Our school is a place away from home where students dream, inspire and strive to be whoever and whatever they want to be in life. Our school is also a place where they can be comfortable and free from any other distractions they may face at home or in their communities that prevent them from becoming successful and productive students and citizens. There is a quote by Zig Ziglar that says: "Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination. The best is yet to come." I try to instill this in my students each and every day.
