A Jumbo Timer allows my students, who thrive on a punctual schedule, to be able to know how many minutes are left before they need to be ready to move on to the next learning activity. Both the Giant and Jumbo Timers also give my students the opportunity to be the person in charge of setting the time, which gives them sense of responsibility. Punctuality is extremely important to students who are on the Autism Spectrum and I try to instill that life skill in all of my students with the help of the Jumbo Timers from Lakeshore Learning! Many adults have still not mastered this skill, so time management is something I strive to teach my students.
