This year an art teacher has only been assigned to our school for one day a week. Unfortunately, this means that my third-grade students will only receive art instruction for one trimester for the entire year. Art creates memories, helps students to manage emotions, and provides a modality of motivation leading to confidence development. While I do many hands-on arts and crafts, it would benefit my students greatly to have a physical, trained art instructor visit our classroom in order to teach art theory and application. With this donation, students will be able to have a real, live artist visit our class for an hour and a half lesson which will render an art project that they can take home and share with their families. Please help us reach this goal!
