While our makerspace has several basic items, we need the following science and technology book titles/sets and activity card ideas for students to use to extend their knowledge and experiences of the KEVA blocks and coding app Scratch. Students will be creating Scratch and KEVA block projects to demonstrate knowledge of science and math concepts. The makerspace lab is emphasizing student-led learning, and the emphasis will be for students to use both print and digital materials for extending knowledge and answering questions. This will also help to develop literacy skills as students will need to read and research for information.
