This year I have 23 learners joining my new to me first grade classroom. I have been lucky enough to have had a few of the students last year. my new students are full of energy and are eager to learn 'what's next'. what I know thus far is, I will have nine white and non hispanic students, three hispanic students, one is indigenous and three students are more than one race-, 4 refugees from Africa. One student has significant special needs and I am very much looking forward to them spending some time with our class. My class is going to be amazing this year.
