My students need ASL dictionaries they can use in the classroom. My students work on many different projects through out each unit. Many times they are in need of a sign that has not been learned in the classroom yet or they are branching out just to learn new vocabulary. Most of the time they have to get my attention and ask me what the sign is for their concept they are working on. ASL dictionaries will allow my students to work independently and still be able to learn and research new vocabulary on their own. They will be able to get more done in a shorter amount of time because they will not have to wait on me to finish with other students.
