Having two class sets of the novel, Animal Farm, will allow students to interact with the classic text as they debate and discuss the individual and his/her role in society. The novel will definitely be challenging but it is exciting for kids to wrestle with a tough text. Animal Farm is a classic novel that really mimics society and its struggles. Students will be able to compete with their counterparts in other schools by reading this classic. The ninth graders will read this novel in class and work at home to think about the complex issues presented. The class sets would help every kid have a book in his/her hands as we work.
