This project is to help me grow my classroom library. I have been trying to do this on my own for the last two plus year to help my classroom transition to a reader/writers workshop model. Most of my students are at risk and I am hoping to encourage them to look outside of their worlds and broaden their horizons by reading and not by just watching a movie. By donating to this project, you will be helping give more of my students a choice in what they read and it will help to increase their literacy and make them better writers as well.
