Incorporating Bee-Bot robots into my classroom, will take my students’ learning to a new level. It will introduce them to the world of coding, while allowing them to practice basic skills in the core subject areas. The Bee Bots can be programmed to match reading vocabulary words with the definition, to show spelling words that rhyme, to give the answer to a basic addition or subtraction fact, as well as match a bird beak to its adaptation. The skills that are taught on a daily basis can be integrated with coding in a fun and exciting way. It allows students to interact with the subject matter, and take charge of their learning experience.
